The U.are.U SDK for Android is compatible with the DigitalPersona U.are.U 5160 Fingerprint Reader and U.are.U 5100 Fingerprint Module. The U.are.U SDK for Android supports the standalone DigitalPersona U.are.U 5160 Reader, as well as the U.are.U 5100 Module designed for integration with OEM equipment. Standards Support The U.are.U SDK for Android fully embraces image and template standards. In addition, the DigitalPersona FingerJet biometric engine features a MINEX. DigitalPersona U.are.U for Android 3.2.0. The U.are.U SDK for Android enables integrators and developers to quickly add the strong security of fingerprint-based authentication to their Android applications. These applications can then be used with DigitalPersona’s standards based, FIPS 201 PIV certified optical fingerprint readers.

U.areU 5300 Fingerprint Reader

The U.are.U 5300 is a compact optical single fingerprint reader meeting both FIPS 201/PIV and FBI Mobile ID FAP 30 standards. The reader is designed to meet the high volume requirements of large-scale Civil ID and commercial enrollment and authentication applications.

The U.are.U 4500 Module is designed to simplify OEM integration. The module is
sealed from dust and includes convenient mounting features.

The U.are.U SDK for Android enables integrators and developers to quickly add the strong security of fingerprint-based authentication to their Android applications. These applications can then be used with DigitalPersona’s standards based, FIPS 201 PIV certified optical fingerprint readers.The U.are.U SDK for Android uses the same API as found in the DigitalPersona U.are.U SDKs for Windows and Linux to provide efficient and easy cross-platform development. In addition, the DigitalPersona FingerJet biometric engine features a MINEX certified extractor providing developers with the flexibility to make unfettered choices of matching algorithms and the ability to comply with a growing customer requirement for standards support.
