I know you know what I am referring to when I say I am stuck on the step of installing Omnisphere 2 where I have to patch the file. I am using WineBottler to open the.exe file. I do not know what file to patch though. In windows, I've seen its the Omnisphere.dll file, but Mac, there is nothing like it to open.

Storing sound files on a secondary drive

If you are wanting to store your Omnisphere audio files on a second hard drive, you can put the Spectrasonics/STEAM folder onto your second drive. You will then need to create an alias or 'short cut' to this location on your main Mac or Windows drive. You can create an alias (Mac) or a short cut (Windows) by right-clicking (ctrl+click for Mac users) the STEAM folder and selecting it from the menu.

Once you have done this, you will then need to either locate or create the following folder on your main drive:

Jun 17, 2017 When i try to open Omnisphere it tells me that my STEAM folder is not a valid STEAM Folder, even if the folder with 8Gb is located in /application support/spectrasonics/, as it should be. The strange thing about that is, that if i want to relocate it manually through omnisphere, the steam folder i wanna choose (8Gb) is marked as only 140 Bytes.
